Developing Integrated Interpersonal Therapy and Counseling for Alcohol Problems (IPT+CAP) Intervention for Male Perpetrators of Intimate Partner Violence with Comorbid Alcohol Use in India

This study proposes developing and evaluating an integrated Interpersonal Therapy and Counseling for Alcohol Problems (IPT+CAP) intervention for male perpetrators of intimate partner violence with comorbid alcohol use in India. The brief, lay-counselor-delivered program aims to reduce alcohol use and physical violence, assessed over 12 months, in low-resource settings.
