Abstract

Expectant caregivers are adults who are not currently in the role of caregiver but anticipate becoming one within the next two years. We utilize the 2023 national Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System to explore: Do demographics, barriers to healthcare, and depressive disorder predict frequent mental health distress among expectant caregivers?
