Fear of Missing Mediates the Relationship between Social Media Use and Worry, but Not Anxiety, in Adults

This study investigates how Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) mediates the relationship between social media use and anxiety among Jordanian adults. Findings show that FoMO partially mediates the link between social media and cognitive anxiety but not somatic symptoms, highlighting cultural and psychological pathways driving digital-era distress.
