Abstract
We examined the social support and impulsivity among recent immigrants in Miami (N=528) by country of origin and other demographics. No differences were found on impulsivity, but Venezuelans had significantly higher levels of social support, while those from Central America had the lowest scores. Research and clinical implications are discussed.
