The Relationship between Internal Working Models of Attachment and Implicit Information Processing.

We verified the relationship between implicit attachment using the ST-IAT and implicit attachment-related information processing using the lexical decision task.  A total of 118 persons (44 females, Mage =42.84) participated in this experiment.  The results indicate that implicit avoidance may suppress the unconscious association between self and positive information.
