Abstract

This study will address mental healthcare providers’ perspectives on involuntary psychiatric care for their patients. The purpose of this study is to understand the role involuntary psychiatric commitment plays in different mental health providers' treatment in order to inform potential alternatives practices to supporting people in mental health crises.
