Abstract

We examined how trait mindfulness influences cyberchondria via negative meta-cognition and health information craving(HIC). 500 participants were surveyed. SEM results (χ2/df = 2.80, CFI = .955, RMSEA = .060, TLI = .948, SRMR = .060) showed mindfulness reduces cyberchondria by lowering negative meta-cognition and the negative reinforcing effect of HIC.
