Abstract
Black youth continue to contend with a world of marginalization, devaluation, and invalidation that directly threatens their healthy development. This talk will explore cultural assets that support youth’s persistence and thriving from adolescence to emerging adulthood–with a specific focus on Black youth’s awareness of racism and sense of community.
