Culturally Rising: Exploring Collective Black Consciousness Framework for Black Youth’s Collective Thriving

Collective Black Consciousness is a theory that draws on from Black cultural wisdoms to articulate how Black people move towards collective thriving and intersectional liberation. This presentation situates CBC in adolescence and emerging adulthood to elucidate how this framework can support asset-based culturally rooted developmental analysis of Black youth’s wellness.
