Abstract

The brain is an endocrine organ shaped by rhythmic neuromodulatory hormone production. Yet, traditional cross-subject approaches often fail to capture the dynamic fluctuations of sex hormones. This talk highlights emerging evidence of sex hormones’ influence on the human brain, revealed through densely sampling endocrine transitions like the circadian cycle, menstrual cycle, and pregnancy.
