Abstract
We examined differences in subjective response to alcohol, focusing on intensity and number of drinks required for effects through survey measures. Black individuals reported higher intensity of stimulating effects (β=0.14, p=0.03) and needed more drinks for lighter effects (β=0.21, p<0.001), while males required more drinks for heavier effects (β=0.19, p<0.001).
