Abstract

We investigated interpersonal motivations and learning on attitude alignment.  A total of 460 participants were primed with a motivation and viewed a social media post on sustainability. Participants primed with epistemic motivation endorsed more implicit and explicit (marginally) pro-environment attitudes when engaged in individual learning compared to neutral learning.
