Affirming Love: The Impact of Social Affirmation on Relationship Satisfaction and Well-Being in Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Emerging Young Adults

This study will examine how social affirmation, through microaffirmations from romantic partners (Galupo et al., 2019), impacts relationship satisfaction and well-being in TGNC emerging adults (N = 150). An online survey will assess relationship satisfaction, sexual satisfaction, identity consolidation, and mental health, expecting social affirmation to enhance well-being and identity.
