Abstract

This study investigated bilingualism as it relates to identification with first and second language culture. Sixty bilingual undergraduates completed a questionnaire on linguistic background and cultural affiliations. Regressions indicated cultural identification was predicted by language use and proficiency. This research increases our understanding of the relationship between language and culture.
