Acculturation, Acculturative Stress and Psychological Wellbeing Among Black Immigrants

This study examines the impact of acculturation strategies on stress and well-being in Black immigrants. Participants will write about their acculturation experiences and then complete acculturative stress and well-being measures. We expect that an integration strategy, compared to a marginalization strategy, will reduce stress and in turn and increase well-being.
