Abstract
Using audit methodology, we emailed 1,000 psychologists across the U.S., pretending to be a Muslim woman, a Muslim man, a Christian woman, or a Christian man seeking treatment. Results demonstrate that therapists display a religious, gendered implicit bias in their interaction with and willingness to offer appointments to prospective clients.
