Navigating Job Boredom and Loneliness: The Impact of Social Media on Burnout

Abstract
Burnout characterized by feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and decreased professional efficacy is associated with several adverse consequences. This study examined the influence of job boredom, loneliness, and social media on burnout. Job boredom and loneliness were associated with burnout, social media use was positively associated with exhaustion, no moderation detected.
