Does Moral Disengagement Moderate the Relationship between Empathy and Abuse Perpetration?

Empathy deficits and moral disengagement (MD) are significant predictors of violence and intimate partner violence (IPV). This study further explored the relationship between empathy, MD, and IPV. Results suggest that MD is a stronger predictor of IPV than empathy for both online and in-person abuse.
