Abstract
We examined the impact of occupational exhaust fume exposure on cognitive performance in 1,003 older adults (60+) from NHANES 2011-2012. Results revealed significant racial and ethnic disparities, with Hispanic and Black participants exposed to fumes exhibiting lower performance, particularly in memory and processing speed tasks, compared to other groups.
