Abstract

This study examined if school factors (school engagement, school belongingness) uniquely predicted resilience (mental health problems, prosocial behaviors) after accounting for individual and family level factors. School engagement and school belongingness predicted resilience above and beyond ethnic identity and parental warmth, highlighting the critical role of the school context.
