Abstract
We investigated how conventionalism can be characterized and associated with prejudice across cultures. We conducted factor analyses and multiple regression. We found that conventionalism was characterized based on both universal and culture-specific factors across cultures and associated with prejudice toward nonnormative groups more strongly in group-oriented cultures.
