Abstract
Discussing stress with patients could allow providers to identify and address factors undermining patient health. We administered a survey to assess the frequency of provider-patient conversations about stress and the stressors types discussed. Our findings show that these conversations do not occur regularly, highlighting the need to support providers’ expertise.
