Long-Term Impact of School-Based SEL on Children of Incarcerated Parents: A Multi-Year Growth Analysis

Abstract
Milk and Cookies is a school-based social-emotional learning program for children of incarcerated parents. With five years of data, we analyze its impact on emotion management, comparing growth rates between students participating for multiple years (returners) and those new to the program (non-returners). Overall, children show annual growth in scores.
