Speech Motor Planning Relies on Multiple Brain Areas: Evidence from Neurodegenerative Disease

Abstract
In a group of individuals diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia (PPA), grey matter volumes in left supramarginal gyrus (SMG), angular gyrus (AG), precentral gyrus (PrCG), and postcentral gyrus (PoCG) were found to be associated with severity ratings of Apraxia of Speech (AOS), a speech motor planning disorder.
Communication
