Abstract

This study examined the impact of capitalist and Native Hawaiian values on university students' psychological well-being. Researchers found that Hawaiian values negatively correlated with capitalist values, while capitalist values were unexpectedly linked to reduced anxiety and depression. The results suggest capitalist values may offer psychological benefits in competitive academic settings.
