Abstract

This meta-analysis explored the link between burnout and distress among U.S. graduate students, considering majors and the impact of the pandemic. Analyzing data from fifteen studies and 4817 students. Medical students exhibited a higher correlation, suggesting higher vulnerability. The relationship decreased after the pandemic, indicating a shift in mental health.
