Abstract
Urban green space exposure is associated with reduced emotional distress. We examined objective and subjective measures of residential and park-based green space exposure. Findings suggest attitudes towards greenery do not moderate these associations. Instead, encouraging park visits and positive perceptions of neighborhood greenery may maximize mental health benefits.
