Behavioral Health Services Provision in Primary Care Settings: A Mixed Methods Evaluation

A mixed-method paradigm, incorporating an experimental, simulated electronic medical record and follow up semi-structured interview, is proposed to assess primary care providers': a) approaches to pre-visit planning, b) perspectives about their roles in behavioral health services (BHS) provision, and c) attitudes and opinions towards professional practices of integrated BHS delivery.
