Abstract

Data from the Berkeley Girls with ADHD Longitudinal Study were analyzed using Principal Component Analysis to align Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) with threat and deprivation components from the Dimensional Model of Adversity and Psychopathology. Threat strongly predicted adult internalizing and externalizing symptoms; deprivation showed no significant associations, warranting further study.
