Autistic Spectrum Symptoms Are Associated with Differences in Implicit Learning of Emotional Faces

We investigated implicit social learning that is linked to autistic symptoms using a novel probabilistic emotion learning task. Twelve college-aged participants with high autism quotient (AQ) scores and 16 age-matched control participants were recruited. Results showed atypical learning of social rewards occurred at trial-by-trial levels among high AQ individuals.
