Patterns of Mathematics Academic Engagement in Secondary School Students in Taiwan: A Latent Profile Analysis

Abstract

The present study employs latent profile analysis to investigate the academic engagement of 1069 Taiwanese secondary school students in mathematics. This study found that different types of mathematical academic engagement are significantly positively correlated with the three dimensions of mathematical resilience(efficacy, affection, and interpersonal relationships).
