Abstract
Children in foster care exhibited significantly lower executive functioning (EXF) scores compared to those living with biological parents, underscoring the impact of early adversity. Racial disparities in EXF were found in the biological parent group, with Black children scoring lower than peers. Findings emphasize interventions addressing adversity and racial inequities.
