Abstract

We investigated the relationship between trait-level acceptance, momentary awareness, and mental health symptoms using a 14-day video-based Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA). We discovered that awareness increased over time and that greater awareness only improved mental health when combined with acceptance, underscoring the mechanisms through which awareness can support mental well-being.
