Overlooked Grief: No Significant Association between Childhood Trauma and Depression Among Bereaved Latino Adults

We examined the relationship between childhood trauma and depressive symptoms among 46 recently bereaved Latino spouses. No significant relationship was found; however, poor sleep quality was associated with higher depression (p <.001). Future research on grief outcomes among Latinos is needed.
