Abstract
This study examines how parenting practices reduce child epigenetic metabolic risk in a predominantly historically marginalized sample. Parents and their 3-year-old children were randomly assigned to a parenting intervention or control group. Findings will highlight the protective effects of parenting interventions on epigenetic outcomes linked to metabolic health.
