Abstract
Data from the National Violent Death Reporting System (NVDRS), suggests that being married or previously married, gun use, being older, mental health problems and alcohol use, significantly increase the likelihood of attempting suicide after committing an intimate partner homicide while getting into a fight was found to significantly decrease it.
