Abstract

This study seeks to examine how adolescents’ arrest experiences influence their perceptions of crime and, ultimately, their future criminal behavior in a sample of justice-involved adolescents. We found that youth who get away with more crimes are more likely to find them thrilling and, subsequently, reoffend.
