Abstract
In Study 1 (N = 200), stronger nature connectedness predicted less death anxiety. In Study 2 (N = 148,293), people in more severe pandemic counties reported greater death anxiety in 2020, but this association was attenuated in counties with more greenspace, indicating nature’s potential as a buffer against death anxiety.
