School Dynamics and the Development of Self-Regulation in Early Childhood: A Scoping Review

Abstract
This scoping review examines school-related factors influencing self-regulation in early childhood. Based on 42 empirical studies, findings emphasize the role of teacher behaviors, interaction quality, balance of teacher-led and child-led activities, peer relations, and teacher well-being and mindfulness in shaping emotional support and classroom dynamics.
