Abstract
We examined the relationship between avoidant and anxious attachment in adults and positivity dampening using hierarchical regression (N = 145, 86 females, Mage = 23.82). Results indicate that both anxious attachment and avoidant attachment are highly predictive of the tendency to dampen positive information.
