Abstract

Based on the values of familismo and personalismo we hypothesized Latina mothers would anticipate a stronger psychotherapeutic alliance, report higher parenting efficacy and lower perceived child difficulty.   In a sample of 63 White and  26 Latina mothers we found support for our hypotheses about alliance and difficulty, but not self-efficacy.
