Abstract

Trauma exposure can result in neurostructural changes that impact emotional regulation. This study examines how sociodemographic factors influence trauma exposure in young adults (age 18-25) and aims to elucidate the volumetric and morphological alterations in key regions (e.g., the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex) using clinical interviews and structural MRI.
