Abstract
We examined patterns of parent and adolescent perceptions of ethnic-racial socialization in Asian American families. Latent profile analysis with 468 parent-adolescent dyads revealed four distinct patterns. Youth reporting high positive socialization and low negative socialization with high parent-child agreement demonstrated more positive mental health, academic, and social outcomes.
