Abstract
The study examined aging and post-disaster perceptions of physiological pain. Data from a national US panel (N=9,591) found exposure to disasters and older age significantly predicted pain intensity, but their interaction did not. These findings can help apply age-specific tailored treatments to disaster-related pain management across all ages.
