Abstract

This study of 443 full-time U.S. employees found that work prevention focus intensifies the job demands-burnout relationship at low remote work but buffers it at higher intensities. Results highlight the need for tailored remote work policies that leverage avoidance motivation to enhance employee well-being and productivity in remote settings.
