Abstract
Our study examines brain changes in first graders by conducting an ambitious set of dense longitudinal neuroimaging measurements every month throughout the first grade. By observing brain activation as children freely view images selected from the Sesame Street Image Archive, we explore how processing visual object categories relates to learning.
