Exploring the Experience of Worry and Anger from the Perspective of the Contrast Avoidance Model

We investigated high worriers’ experiences with anger using the Contrast Avoidance Model (CAM). The study was a cross-sectional, self-report survey including 153 high worriers. The CAM mediated the relationship between trait worry and trait anger and trait worry and metacognitions about anger, providing deeper insight into worriers’ experience of anger.
