Childhood Adversity and Substance Use in Sexual and Racial Minorities: A Prospective Cohort Study

Abstract

We will model the risk and protective factors predicting substance use in sexual and racial minorities. Five-hundred Australians will be recruited from the Grindr app and analysed using structural equation modelling. This prospective cohort study will clarify mechanisms of intersectional, minority trauma to improve clinical assessment and personalised treatment approaches.
