Abstract
This study investigated the impact of auditory stimuli on executive functioning. Participants completed the Wisconsin Card Sorting Task while exposed to differing auditory inputs (infant crying, birdsong, or no sound), assessing cognitive performance. This analysis measured components of executive function such as problem-solving, working memory, and cognitive rigidity and flexibility.
