Abstract
A MANCOVA was conducted to examine the effect of one’s acceptance of their disability on self-compassion and meaning within neurodivergent participants (n = 239). This indicated an overall significant effect of acceptance on the dependent outcomes, Wilk’s Λ = .74, F(1, 237) = 41.12, p < .001, ηp² = .26.
